The company was founded in 1982 by it's owner Robert A. Hansen. Bob attended the State University of New York at Farmingdale before starting Robert Hansen Landscaping, LLC. He holds a Supervisory Certificate for Turf and Ornamentals and is a State Licensed Arborist. Bob has been working in the landscape field since 1978. Carl T. Hansen joined the company in 1982. Carl brought with him a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy (soils and turf) from Delaware Valley College, 1980. He also holds a Supervisory Certificate and is a State Licensed Arborist. Carl is responsible for the Landscape Maintenance Division and fertilization and pesticide application. Steven R. Hansen joined the company in 1996 after running his own design/build firm since 1984. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture (Delaware Valley College, 1983). He also holds a Supervisory Certificate and is certified by ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute).
